Feng Chia University Ranks Sixth Nationwide in NSTC College Student Research Projects! “Big Fish Leading Small Fish” — Feng Chia Professors Accompany Students, Making Research the Most Valuable Part-Time Job

The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) recently announced the list of approved College Student Research Projects. Feng Chia University ranked sixth nationwide in the number of approved projects, with an acceptance rate exceeding 50%, demonstrating strong academic and research capabilities as well as interdisciplinary talent cultivation. This program is the most important undergraduate research platform in Taiwan, not only fostering students’ independent thinking and research abilities but also deepening faculty-student collaboration and the campus research atmosphere. At Feng Chia, these achievements are never accidental, but the result of teachers’ long-term guidance and support.

Feng Chia University held its first-ever “University-wide Freshman Project Competition” in 2025, guiding new students to immerse themselves in a CDIO learning environment centered on “learning by doing, doing by learning” from their very first day on campus. The project courses, held from September 2 to 3, featured outstanding teams from each department, who continued to refine their projects in their spare time. The final results exhibition was held at Virtuosi Hall from September 23 to 26, attracting over a thousand faculty and students for observation and exchange.
Australian Office visited Feng Chia to bridge Feng Chia with Australia’s top 100 universities in the world.

The Australia Office visited our school on the 5th. Ma Jie, Director of the Business Office, led Senior Business Manager Lu Zhu Zhen, Business Manager Hu Ying Jun, and New South Wales Taiwan Director Zhang Jun Ming to visit the school’s Board of Directors, Principal’s Office, International Office, and International College, School of Business and School of Innovation. The two sides exchanged views on the development of education and technology between Taiwan and Australia, and look forward to opening more communication in the future.
